Sento is a brand offering water softening solutions. Our brand "Sento" traces its name from Japanese. Sentos are Japanese public bathhouses, communal places for bathing, relaxing, and socializing. Rooted in the refined traditions of Sento, our brand stands for openness, honesty, and complete transparency. Started by two students pursuing their undergrad in Bengaluru. We had a simple question: “Why is something as basic as showering been damaging our hair and skin? And why is it so expensive to tackle this issue?” When in childhood, showering would be a peaceful escape, nurtured by the hills and valleys of Assam (our hometown) a feeling of pure serenity. But now it’s almost as if it’s a nightmare, stepping into the bath - bidding goodbye to our once “oh so - soft skin” and “healthy, shining hair” just for the purpose of cleansing ourselves. Seeing people around us that we love and admire losing themselves and their confidence over their thinning hair, dried skin that's almost peeling off and flaky scalp and the worst part of it - all of us not being able to do anything about it because no amount of money could cater to all these needs at once. This made us find a purpose to build a product that amplifies the goodness of water while reducing the harms of it - all at once. So Sento has decided to introduce it’s very own shower filter - “SNAAN”. "SNAAN" (स्नान a word of Sanskrit origin, meaning to bathe or to wash) has 15 layers of filtration designed to remove contaminants like chlorine, heavy metals and dust particles while granting the goodness of VITAMIN C and activated carbon which leaves the hair frizz-free and skin smoother. Our product, SNAAN, is completely Made in India using best quality materials and technology. We want to raise awareness about hard water in every Indian household and introduce Snaan as a solution at an affordable price.
